Sara Dalke

Sara has worked in the early childhood field for over 15 years and holds a bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education from Indiana University. After college, she immersed herself in teaching young children in New Zealand for four years. She was inspired by the universal respect and appreciation the country held for the early years and she strives to bring those values to Barnette Academy.

 

Since then, Sara's experiences in the field have ranged from classroom teacher to administrative roles as Assistant Director and, most recently, Program Director at a private preschool in Lincoln Park. While there, she held a high standard for the daily operation of the school and successfully passed yearly inspections and maintained full enrollment. Sara lives with her husband in Logan Square and is dedicated to becoming an asset in the community by providing a safe and secure school where families can grow.
